January 29 - February 21, 2016
The Pennsylvania Center For Photography and Stephanie Lisle - Promotion of the Arts are pleased to announce their first juried photography exhibition, AMERICANA. Photographers are invited to submit work for possible inclusion in the exhibition. Subject matter must pertain to: “A·mer·i·ca·na - noun - things associated with the culture and history of America, especially the United States”.
Artists are invited to submit original, two-dimensional photographic images. All photographically based mediums and genres are welcome. However, only digital submissions will be accepted for judging.
The AMERICANA exhibition will be comprised of both a traditional print exhibition and a large screen high-resolution digital exhibition. Approximately 75 – 100 prints will be selected for the show (depending on size) and a maximum of 50 images will be selected for the digital exhibition - which will run on a continuous loop throughout the show. The intent of the digital exhibition is to allow photographers who are too far away to deliver physical prints the opportunity to have their exceptional work recognized and exhibited. Separate and specific entry forms will be provided for the print exhibition and the digital exhibition.
