The Foundation of Photography Workshop
Is someone special getting a new camera this holiday season?
Photography isn't just about cameras, lenses, and lighting - in large part, it is about the magic that comes from knowing how to use them to realize your particular vision of the world. The Foundations of Photography Workshop is designed to help you really understand the basic principles of photography so that you can control your equipment rather than letting it control you.
This five-part workshop will deal with the essential elements of photography - from understanding your camera's capabilities (and limitations) to creatively controlling exposure to composition and color to depth of field. In other words, we will be giving you the tools to start creating exciting images that move way beyond casual snapshots. And that's when photography really becomes fun!
The only prerequisites for this course are a camera and a desire to take better pictures.
Dates: Five consecutive Tuesday evenings starting on 1/5/2016 at 7-9pm
Where: At The Pennsylvania Center for Photography - 181 Court Street, Doylestown, Pa 18901
