The Philadelphia Museum of Art is sharing its art with the Borough of Doylestown. Starting April 15, 2016, thirteen high-quality replicas of Museum masterpieces will find their way into our community. This exciting outdoor exhibition will feature artwork from painters such as Marc Chagall, Andrew Wyeth and Bucks County native Daniel Garber amongst many other masters. Stroll down Main Street, walk through downtown Doylestown and enjoy the InsideOut treasures from the Philadelphia Museum of Art in our very own town. Imagine encountering Paul Gauguin’s “The Sacred Mountain” on your way to dinner or how about taking your family for a picnic in the park by Edward Hicks’ “Noah’s Arc”. Be enchanted by Daniel Garber’s “Quarry Evening” on your way to the James A. Michener Art Museum for a visit of its current exhibit “Garber in Spring”, which includes the return of the original Garber masterpiece “Tanis” for a six-month engagement.
